Before the COVID-19 pandemic, our structures group successfully hosted an annual student-focused and student-run conference for five years. This event was a tremendous success, providing a platform for students to showcase their work, network with peers, professors, and industry partners, and gain valuable experience in managing such events.
We are excited to announce the revival of the Structures Graduate Student Conference (SGSC) in 2024! This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved, enhance your leadership skills, and expand your professional network.
Why the conference?
The purpose of the conference is to celebrate the graduate students of the Structures Group. The conference will provide a nice and relaxed environment for all the students to present their work to their peers and to the industry. The conference will provide networking opportunities between different research groups within our Structures Group and the industry partners.
The emphasis throughout the conference is on sharing ideas, experiences and building a bridge between the students in the Structures Group and the industry.
